Day 1:Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock)
Your tour manager will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2:Pyramids / Sakkara

Breakfast, then move to start your blissful day kicking off at egyptian trip; the ancient capital of Old Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was founded by King Menes. Proceed to the Step Pyramid at Sakkara which was designed by the architect Imhotep for his master King Zoser. Lunch at good quality local restaurant. After that, move to visit the enchanting pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus at Giza. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, dates back to the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3:Museum / Old Cairo

After breakfast, start your day kicking off at the Egyptian Museum that exhibits the enchanting treasures of Tutankhamen, among many other fascinating pharaonic artifacts. Lunch at a good quality local restaurant. After that, proceed your trip visiting the Hanging Church and Abu Sirga Church at Coptic Cairo. Back to the hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 4:Arrival Aswan

After breakfast, checkout from your hotel in Cairo and transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan. Embark on board a 05 star luxuriously Dahabiya, Sonesta Dahabiya Amirat Cruise and overnight on board.

Day 5:Aswan Sightseeing

– Today you will visit the Aswan High Dam (completed in 1971); the Old Dam (completed in 1902)
– You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam’s construction
– Sail on the way to Kom Ombo (noon time). Overnight near by Kom Ombo.

Day 6:Sail to Kom Ombo

– Morning sail to Kom Ombo
– To visit the ptolemaic temple dedicated to the crocodile god sobek and the falcon-headed Horus, god of the morning sun.
– Overnight moored beside a Nile Island

Day 7:Edfu Temple

– This morning you will sail to Edfu
– To visit the wonderfully preserved Temple of Edfu. – Overnight moored beside an Island.

Day 8:Sail to Esna

– Today will be a leisurely day; After Breakfast
– Commence sailing to Esna, and passing the lock,
– Then Dahabeya will moor beside a Nile Island.

Day 9:Luxor Sightseeing

– This morning you will sail to luxor and visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. Overnight moored in Luxor.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

 

Day 10:Luxor Sightseeing

– Excursion to the West Bank to visit the great burial places of the Pharaohs
– the Valley of the Kings – where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922.
– Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, Medinet Habu Temple and the Colossi of Memnon.
-Overnight moored in Luxor.

Day 11:Arrival Sharm

Breakfast on board, Disembark from your Dahabiya Nile cruise after breakfast at 08:00 a.m. Then you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for flight to Sharm. Upon arrival at Sharm Airport, transfer to your hotel in Sharm and overnight. Most flight from Luxor to Sharm is indirect flight via Cairo Airport. Overnight in Sharm.

Day 12:Sharm El Shiekh

Free day in Sharm or join our optional tour to Ras Mohammed National Park which is both a terrestrial and an aquatic nature reserve. The 480 square kilometre protected area lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba in Sinai’s southern extremity. The arid desert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals and granite mountains is home to a number of rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex and red fox. Easier to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species live in the park, including mangroves. Overnight in Sharm.

Day 13:Sharm El Shiekh

Free day in Sharm or join our optional tour to the Monastery of St. Catherine located at the heart ofSinai and at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses. Fronted by gardens and cypress trees, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church. Its rich library houses the world’s second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican. You can see the Burning Bush and a large number of antique works of art: invaluable icons, beautifully carved doors, exquisite wall paintings and other fine religious ornaments. Overnight in Sharm.

Day 14:Back to Cairo

Breakfast at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and then you will be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
